It does frequently top lists for 'safest market', 'most recession resistant', 'best growing markets', 'markets to watch', etc.

Floating floors are great to keep up front cost down because you normally don't need sub floors but if you are looking for sustainability and extended use you can't beat a good quality 3-4mm thick LVP with an aluminum oxide scratch resistant finish. 

Less resistance is always better.
