If you do end up refinancing that's just icing on the cake.

I like the sneaky old lady who might have pulled one over on the bank and ripped them off for 43k, (what was owed on the note.) but then I really like justice and she didn't pay so I tend to think the bank should get it... either way I love Oklahoma real estate it's somehow so much more colorful than it was in CT. not to mention a whole lot cheaper. :)  

I would look for deals with a home on it and make the deal work with the existing setup and if you can get an additional lot, thats just icing on the cake.

@Krista Mikos You tried probate office now try justice of the peace for eviction records and contact those tired landlords.

But here in PA I google to find out who the local district justice is and then we go to whats called the ujs portal for the PA courts and we can search by local magistrate and pull up a list of evictions.  

Or is appreciation just icing on cake that, if it happens then great, else you don't care about it?
