Tough to make an actual judgement on this as it may be something specific to your state or specific to the lender.  

However, that is a judgement call only you can make.Good luck!

Its definitely pretty easy process to get a pre-approval from a mortgage lender - there are quite a few that hand them out like candyI've worked with my lender on a few deals now and I trust his judgement but I do need to shop around and speak with different lenders to see what they offer.  

Emotions will always cloud your Judgement. 

Getting something on their record for leverage and knowing where they are to enforce a judgement could be a benefit. 

Your judgement is based on your singular bad experience and is in no way a reflection of our business model. 

I won't go into the details, but we've had to terminate leases with owners who we signed leases with against our better judgement.

@Elenis CamargoYes, our property managers will send our judgements to collectors but the chances of getting paid is very, very slim; especially in C class and forget about it in D class.

@David cMaybe the question on the California real estate exam would be something like this" If O J lost his home to creditors in California, would it be a good idea to move to a state where creditors can't take your homestead when they get a judgement against you?"
