Some of those nonprofits, like Associated Catholic Charities, own their houses, and I believe they can get grants to identify and convert a house for their clients to live in. 

There are multiple sub programs to help even with the tenant paid portion of the rent such as the Catholic charities, Veteran's programs, etc that give an extra layer of protection that rent will be received while also doing a good thing for underserved individuals.

We're running a business, not a charity. 

Material possessions become a drag once you've had some because they take time and money to protect from thieves and keep clean from dust (and move when you decide to change addresses).My heirs and beneficiaries, which mostly are charities, will be happy someday.

The fees from e-book will hopefully be larger and go to 3 charities, of which 1 will be alzheimers related.

They generally have lower education, multiple jobs to stay afloat, constant charity assistance, lives have constant twists and turns which is unstable as a long term tenant.

They can almost always get help with a charity in the worst case scenario.  

There are many routes to choose here but as an example, find 12 charities to whom you'd like to donate $1 per month and have them pull your donation automatically from your account each month.

I decided to go with using a PM for a couple reasons:I know myself, and when it comes to the sad stories of tenants that cannot pay rent, I will always have a hard time discerning and treating my business as a business, rather than a charity.
