I've worked very hard and studied a lot to get to where I am now (23 yr old E-6 with a house and a good career as a nurse) and my bigest problem now is relying too much on delayed gratification where money is concerned.

STR = Short term rentals (think airbnbs)MTR = Mid term rental (30 day stays, think travel nurses or corporate housing)

You see an elderly lady with a neglected home who might not be able to move while the next person sees an older lady who will be able to finish her life in a nursing home.  

If you were to house-hack with Airbnb out there, you'd likely get a fair number of either nurses/medical professionals or family visiting relatives at the UC Health hospital out there.
