I contacted the county for info on the lien holder and they have no info at all.

Such violations apply to actions or inactions taken by the permit holder, his or her agents, designee or employees.

Even though they don't know that block,  Voucher holders  know it very well :D))  You have to make it  nice,so they pick your house. 

The tax collector, mortgage holder, and insurance company likely won't be extending you any breaks.

I think that point also can get lost in the discussion of who "deserves" a break, fairness, etc.Would it be "fair" for me to ask a bond holder to forgive my debt since I am having such a hard time?

As long as you go through a title company or attorney (depends on state) for closing they will verify that he is the 1st lien holder on the property and he has a mortgage.

It is almost guaranteed that the note holder will notice the change in the insurance policy and the name on the check every month.
