Although I’ve been investing in real estate, both directly and indirectly for 45+ years, I still get a “queasy” feeling when an investment does not perform as expected.My “aha” moment occurs when we reach the point when, despite the investment problems, we’re able to still show a good/substantial profit at the end of our holding period.

Cash flow is great, but it can feel incremental compared to the boost you get from equity plays.For me, it's more situational.

How did it feel walking into that closing room, knowing you were about to own your first investment property?

However, if you seem similar listings in your area and they're requiring tenants put utilities in their name, then you should feel more comfortable doing so.

I am pretty handy and have done plenty of restoration work myself and not afraid to put in some elbow grease. looking into real estate to get the wealth ball rolling but feel a little uneasy given the current state of the economy. what would you do in my shoes?! 

So, don't feel any less of an investor if you go the property manager route.

As for the addendums go I feel these two addendums just complicate things and thought of removing them entirely.
