I think getting someone to manage STR on a daily basis might cut a lot into cash flow.

UPDATE: Mario from Bridgehouse and I are communicating on a daily basis and he asked that I post this update:As of Mon Aug 26, he has verbally agreed to pay our handyman bill of $185, the June rent of $1,400, and the damages to our home caused by the tenant. 

It just increases your exposure.Not sure how you do NOT have an insurance policy and still have a mortgage...We've got plenty of threads, pretty much daily, about the LLC question...  

Before using it, I use to go in and manually change the prices daily on two properties, when we started using PL we saw instantly higher rates and it took alot off my plate. 

I was going to also increase their late fee significantly or to accrue daily, but a new law in CT just set the limit to $50.

I equate this more to my Maltese yapping like crazy at my Bernese Mountain dog every time he comes within 10 feet of their food.
