Get quality furniture and good linens too... people love that and will ask where you got them etc etc...

I’m sure more clever investors than me can make money in this local market, but as a newbie I would struggle.Connecticut’s biggest problem is it is losing it’s tax base.

As mentioned, if you have to get really clever to avoid the law, more than likely you're in trouble.

And yes, Tim is right, it would really tick off any judge and blow any case you did have.Doing so is not even clever, it's outright lying and should be as clear as the nose on someone's face.

I was hoping to have my cleaners come and spend about 2 hours preparing the 2bd house for the next guests, but if I'm accommodating up to 8 guests (4 beds + towels), how can I ensure that all of the linens are ready to go and not have the cleaner there for 3-4 hours waiting for a few loads to be done?

Same question for furniture/linens/decorations etc.

It is really crazy out here so you have to come up with some clever solutions to renting out properties, but there are ways to do it!
