On the surface, it appears to be a straightforward role, but it becomes far more challenging when faced with issues like non-paying tenants requiring eviction or broken systems that haven't been properly followed.As a self-managing property owner, it is absolutely doable—but success depends on treating it like a business.

What’s the biggest challenge you've faced in automating your short-term rental?

It's very helpful to se the real challenges you've encountered across different markets- especially your point on finding qualified subs and staying away from high-rate lenders.

I scan the forums every day, but I mostly ignore any threads that seem like a waste of my time either because they've already been fully answered, they're spammy in nature even if not explicitly against the rules, or they're just not something I'm interested in.

For me biggest challenge I always have is getting returns done and k-1s issues
