I put solar on my hot tub, but had an old DVR camera system I am upgrading to the new ring style equipment. 

Do you have video cameras up in common areas or a vacant unit you could rent to a police officer? 

I don’t think it’s legal to place a camera inside...I am not sure what to do... any suggestions would be appreciated

I've asked the current tenant in question, and he swears up and down that he is living alone, despite the observations of the other more senior tenants living in the same building.I do have security cameras in place, but even those are inconclusive, as the tenants often remove the memory chips in them that record the activity.

I'd also add that you should put up a sign saying the area is under surveillance, install a camera and have her call 911 at the first sign of trouble.

They all have security cameras, nicer locks on their entrances, but nothing else as an extra precaution.

Unless you have cameras on the dumpster and clear lease rules, it can be hard to pursue the money.

That's how I want to get to know the area. 2) Relatively safe as well (so I can run and bring a camera without much worry)3) Places that are popular with investors, particularly where long distance investors would want to check out4) If it is undergoing (or has the potential to undergo) rapid transformation then even better!

Most master plumbers will run a camera down the line to determine where the leak is at and then fix that problem.

@Jean Sanchez there are cellular systems, or use standard WiFi cameras with a cellular router.
