If the reason they filed was medical bills (which is quite common) you are probably okay, if they filed because of their trip to Las Vegas and they lost too much money, maybe not okay.Every filing is different and you may want to look at the circumstances before you decide.

You probably know this already but just for the sake of anyone reading this thread who doesn't... regarding electrical: that 70A panel will need to be replaced, especially if it's Federal Pacific Electric (FPE) , Zinsco, GTE-Sylvania, Westinghouse, or contains any stab-loc breakers (usually with with red stickers) which fail to trip and are prone to starting fires. 70A is not enough for modern power consumption as it is, 100A is now the minimum per code, or even better upgrade to 150A or even 200A service since you have AC.

The destination of the direction I was going was not a bad one, however, some of my life goals (home ownership (X many), a yard for my unborn kids, laundry in my own unit, passive income to go to my unborn kid's field trips on a whim...) were just too far out of striking range within my preferred timeline.
