For the first time in history, residents of the sound shore in westchester and Connecticut will have a choice whether to head to Grand Central on the New Haven line, or Penn Station on this new line ending up in central midtown or west side respectively.This also gives a redundancy to commuters that has never existed, currently all of the commuter lines of metro north use the same bridge into and out of Manhattan.

Also, the Gburg/PF economy is built around short term rentals so even future regulations are not going to be designed to prohibit that industry.Future regulations in the smokies are likely to address things to help protect the land & environment.

The two 2/1 apartments were built to be 1750ft2 each at a time when the Borough of Homestead, two streets down, had the same population density as Manhattan has today.As far as the downspouts go, I don't think you're visualizing what's being done correctly. the existing copper gutter is actually being covered, as an integrated part of the roof, hanging within the fascia above the soffit, and new aluminum gutters are being installed at the edge of the roof, hanging outside the fascia.

We are new to NJ/NYC and my husband will need to commute into Manhattan for his job whereas I will be working from home, so location (i.e., safe/livable neighborhood) and proximity to public transit into the city will be important criteria for us.

Accounting made easy if you pay your expenses from the same account...taxes, insurance, etc.If you think you will save some state income taxes somewhere lets say if you are living in places like Manhattan, New York, or California , but you want to designate your residence as Texas, I'm not sure that works.
