Land area spans from Rio Grande City to South Padre Island.I think it's not heard of often bc we're not as mainstream as other big cities and we are also a border town so cartel violence tends to be the issue that comes up.. but Mcallen has actually been ranked top 3 in one of the safest cities to live in in 2023. 

Same goes for number of LLCs and what to fund them with, since bear in mind that CA tends to be more cumbersome and expensive to have LLCs than other states.California is generally more cumbersome than other states when it comes to taxes and filings.

I am a landlord, albeit a new one with just one house rented.My understanding is that remote/outskirt towns tend to be much easier with zonings and permitting.

This is because HELOCs tend to have higher interest rates and shorter terms.
