That and Wallingford were probably my favorite areas, though we liked some of the houses (and views) in Shoreline and Magnolia.I was guessing something close to that for taxes. 

The Lumber Liquidators EVP product does seem like somewhat of a bargain relative to Allure Ultra, which seems to be the favorite on these forums. 

If you used it to repair your primary home it could be 2nd mortgage with limitation, if you used the proceeds for a new sports car it is personal and no deduction.

Real estate is a team sport, and there is no way any investor can do it all on their own, unless they want to burn out.Don't consider moving up, you are already at that point.

I'm sure you're aware every week on the podcasts they ask the guests for two of their favorite books and Brandon Turner has a list of his top 20 must reads for real estate investing so those are great sources. 

Unless there is a sports event (e.g. 49er game) where all area motels, and hotels are full, people do not flock to these discounted housing.

One of my favorite places to live, and was a great place to build capital for the move back to the mainland.  

I do a Friday session with my group and it's my favorite conferences of the year.
