Once you know what you can build, find an architect with experience getting permits in the City of Chicago (a process unto itself).

You will need to find a design-builder or an architect and get some plans since you really can't do much planning without it.

I have met with contractors, architect and found a lender for construction loan.  

Otherwise you'd need to call an architect or maybe a contractor that has a copy.

So please if there is a #contractor, #real #estate #attorney or #architect that understands #permitting in #DC please respond.
