@Omar Fernandez - you can start by reaching out to some attorneys, NYC is an attorney city so you'll have to get an attorney involved (who usually orders the title search).

I would find some motivation seeing how long it takes to stabilize a portfolio and start to see the profit.

I'm starting to see more private note holders reach out to get a loan against the performing note they hold. 

I'd love to start hosting asap and I wouldn't allow the guests access to the kitchen (though of course they'd have access to their rented rooms, bathroom etc.).
