If it's a honeymoon or an anniversary the cleaners put two towels in the shape of swans kissing on the bed to look like a heart or some cheesy equivalent. 

@Tawny Bloom - the pipe clogging issue is a result of soap and oil chemically mixing and sticking to your pipes.  

(Dragging out soap box)Peter,I'm sure these are fantastic resources and I always encourage my clients to gain as much knowledge as they can, but the biggest issue I see is NOT getting the correct answer to your question.  

Bath towels would go, along with soap, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. 

Actually just had a couple people come up on their anniversary so they will be getting their ~$1.50 check in time for Christmas!

Available in 5 gal buckets and we always have some in stock.Bathrooms, floor to ceiling tile, no soap dished in the bath, tenants sometimes use them to get out of the tub, or stand on them to shave their legs, and pull them out enough for water to get behind them.No bathroom window in the shower, it is a leak waiting to happen.The end result for us, is that when a tenant moves out, it is a quick clean of the tile floors, fix the holes in the walls, touch up the paint job, re-caulk where needed and the units look wonderful, immaculate, and rent easily.

If that prospect checks out, signs a lease, and stays for one year and pays on time with no issues, then the tenant who referred them gets half off one month rent on the referred tenant's anniversary.

Only thing we provide is bottled water.Exceptions:Longer stays (10'ish days +)- Bottle of wineSpecial occasion (bdad, anniversary, etc)- bottle of wine.Not necessary but always adds great touch.
