With a lower credit score your lender is going to want a rental history Most likely 12 months at a minimum of cancelled checks showing rent paid I wouldn't be surprised if your lender brings up payment shock (going from zero housing expense to a mortgage) when you go to apply

This would be a good opportunity for you to learn to do your own preliminary title repot.Also close with a lawyer or title company and do not release funds until you have a COMPLETE file and title report.

According to HUD they did not find any health risk outside of some head aches, throat irritation and the like.The best way to do a preliminary check is to pull  out an outlet and look at the ground wire.
