@Audrey Sommer as many of the folks above have mentioned, Zillow is the biggest platform that I see the majority of our leads come in on.

The next installment of 1522 Latham and also 1516 Latham:Months have past and this project has lead to many moments of "what am I thinking" and "one step in front of the next".

While the "type" of neighborhood can sometimes make tenant approval criteria a little more flexible, we always try to avoid making desperate decisions that could lead to future evictions.The rise in evictions that you're seeing could be partly due to landlords lowering their standards to fill units quickly, which might lead to issues down the road with tenants who can't pay rent consistently or have a history of instability.

I get leads and I have good contacts.

I don't have a problem finding deals, and have had good returns on my first property and I think that will lead to referrals down the line but I am trying to scale at a faster pace. 

The other aspect I love about Real Estate is the generational wealth you can create. 

Back 60 years ago the rental industry's rules were very much different from today for my grandpa. 2 generations later,  now im learning to own property with its success in mind.

Are you looking to do long-term buy and hold or want to start with generating capital like wholesaling or fix and flip? 

However, it won’t generate rental income like a duplex or multi-family property.

I have two friends who own rental properties and they are successful with their properties, I read Rich Dad Poor Dad twice along with Rental Property Investing and Power of Habit, I've been told by multiple people apart of the Baby Boomer and Generation X that they wish they invested in Real Estate at my age, I was a Resident Advisor at my University and I enjoyed that role so some of the skills are transferrable, and lastly this is the best time for me to take a risk.
