I am originally from UK and after 6 years I now qualify for funding and I am wanting to house hack a multi family (seems like a cheat code as it isn't an option on a residential mortgage in the UK) but the issue i am finding is the low inventory in my area (6 listings within 20 mile radius of Danville VA) and nothing that i think i can make cashflow well / or seems like it would rent to a decent caliber of tenant.

I had no goals like JD Martin starting out, I was just fed up with being miserly with my money and still broke. 5 years later owning $2.4m through 3 properties via the hojse hacking strategy with my spouse, I am starting to see the vision and path.I continue to flip flop on what my exact investing strategy will look like (do I continue in small multi which is going well or switch future purchases to note buying via the cash flow the properties kick off?)
