I really don't want to invest in any state that had a statewide eviction ban in 2021.

Any thoughts on the bill advancing in legislature ending the ban on rent control?

Landlords across this country are being crushed by cruel, unethical, unfair, biased, politicians that created A (temporary...) law (suggestion) to ban evictions, in some states this is flat all across the board (we cant get squatters out in NJ).Does anyone have any suggestion here what WE can do?

It sounds like they are not suffering covid-related hardship, so the nationwide CDC ban does not apply. 

Obviously lines are already being drawn but at some point even the extreme left will need to recognize the economy is getting slammed and they need to stop it with the eviction ban.  

I charge a premium fee, higher rent, and require them to carry an appropriate insurance policy with my company listed as an additional interest to protect us against lawsuits.You may decide it's not worth the effort and outright ban them, which is what I used to do.

The government eviction bans, ostensibly designed to help tenants, are forcing me to play more defense and only rent to people who are probably on their way to be home owners in a few years anyways.

But my main concern is that though they are unsanitary, they still look like a candidate to use the CDC's (unconstitutional) order to ban evictions under specific circumstances. 

You don't pay right then and there and they will ban you and reauction the property.   

I wanted to ask if anyone ran into any trouble wholesaling before in a state that has banned it?
