Repair foundation, updated siding to front of the house, used medium to high end finishes, beautified the landscaping What was the outcome?

I've got a million posts about it. if you have specific questions I can help with let me know. you can't really compare cost per sq ft without a construction set and finish schedule as a general contractor.

We expect to have holding costs of $15k to get through the off season and the condo is pretty updated so we would only be spending $10k in renovations (updating the bathroom and then finishes in the remaining rooms).

:)If this is for a rental or sale, then moderately finish the garage, economically, so someone can use it as additional detached living area/office, etc. 

It's disappointing because we've put a lot of work into these buildings and we were so close to the finish line of them being stabilized and would have been there already if he wasn't such a meddler.I've watched this guy use the same tactic of trying to threaten and intimidate delinquent and outgoing tenants with zero success and he never follows through.

The house we are considering is a new build 3bd/2.5ba in Lochbuie/Brighton Colorado which is a growing area with decent rent growth 4.8% MoM currently we think we could get $3,600/mo. if we finish the basement ourselves idk $30K?

You have the right idea to house hack when the time comes, but it doesn't have to be now if you don't also have a job while finishing college.
