I would say the bulk of these travelers are traveling medical professionals, international & U.S. based students on internship / rotations / abroad programs, business travelers (esp international travelers), and traveling theatre troupe individuals (think about the actors who come to Chicago for Broadway tour shows by themselves).

I am also in the entertainment industry (Actor/Filmmaker) and like you took COVID-19 and all the delays as a sign to up my knowledge in some other money making aspect of life, so I got my license, found a brokerage that worked for me, and started studying the game. 

We as landlords are often demonized due to bad actors, I tried my best not to come across as a condescending butthole. 

At which point I wait for the foreclosures to start hitting the market and go skipping through town like a kid in a candy store.

There are bad actors in every industry, so you have to screen people similarly but those are my thoughts.

What the Second Amendment protects citizens against is interference on the part of government (both federal and state government, as the McDonald case established) not private actors like landlords. 

It all began changing in around 1979 as a few companies organized for the sole purpose of putting on seminars began to recruit professional actors ( ones that were not well known), provided them with scripts, and paid the.

It appears so many U.S markets are right at that point in the great and neverending Real Estate Cycle where the sheer number of incompetents, bad actors, and scammers begins to surge.

I think any good realtor will be the first to acknowledge there are plenty of bad actors in the profession.
