Regarding the tenants safety, just like you performed your due diligence, the tenant would have to do that as well in order to protect themselves and family members.I also have that added into my lease with website/state police information.

I would advise the tenants to call the police and file a police report followed by attempting to have a restraining order put in place to have the cameras removed.

I have had good success getting approvals with probate / shortsale properties (less paperwork because the borrower is deceased) but the discounts have been @20% of FMV (which if the house needs a lot of repairs works for me (I provided constrution bids, police reports, ect...).
