I do, however, work with many across the country who thrive in the commercial and investment spaces.  

The hardest part isn't finding a brokerage to sponsor you, but for you to find a brokerage you see yourself thriving in. 

I live in Houston, so I would think there are a lot of opportunities in such a big and thriving city. 

My motivation stems from obtaining my bachelor's degree in business, also living in the Bay area all my life and watching family or friends, flip houses to thrive in real estate.

But people are still here, its still thriving, growth and construction all over. 

I had a phenomenal time learning the city, and as disheartening as it is to see what the recession did to this thriving historical city, I'm also very optimistic about the social impact that developers will be able to create in the city.If you've had Detroit experience, been curious, or have been warned against Detroit, I'd love to hear your feedback.
