Before the crash, it seemed like you couldn't get the numbers to work that well in terms of cash flow but you could find deals here and there and the financing and appreciation was definitely there.During the bust you could easily find discounts but the financing was impossible to get and the rental profits were extremely tough and thats even if you self managed. 

I’m an investor with capital and was presented a potential deal to purchase an off market 83 unit self storage facility.

We are self funding these deals, and they were brought to us by a broker.How do you find a deal in this part of the market cycle, when deal volume is down significantly, and there is a ton of pessimism.1.

Hi Dave,I agree with Zachary above that it is fairly uncommon for an experienced tax professional to review only a certain portion or even an entire return someone has self-prepared.

Specifically, I'm looking to use their Self-Directed IRA tool in effort to start investing in real state after retirement; Lord willing 2027. 

Find a broker who self processes or has their own team who processes. 

I've got 7 doors that I self-manage and i'm set to add some more in the coming year.
