That doesn’t seem like it would hold up  This is what the Regs say, in my reading.

I'm a buy and hold (sfh rentals) guy here in illinois about an hour south of chicago (just the suburbs so not really the suburbs of chicago). 

The more conservative way to build wealth through real estate is buy and hold.
