I am not a lawyer or CPA, but I am very familiar with LLCs and separate tax entities; I am not aware if there is a federal statue regarding how long the money must be in the LLC before it is recognized as the LLCs "own money" so to speak.

In one day I had drive to 12 different Homedepots to try to match the Marble stock that was running low for our Master BA....as you pros are well aware you can not do marble floor in two steps (especially white ones) it is almost a must to finish an entire surface the same day..... what a pain in the a##.. that was!!

A non-accrual note does not add that interest to the balance to charge interest in the next period unless otherwise is stated, that interest does become part of the balance due over future periods until, by statue or regulation, it goes into a non-accrual status where interest is no longer charged.

I'm partial to agreeing with you, he seems to think that because of the type of fun (debt) and the initial amount (under 20m) that my state requires RIA status (but filed under exemption for the SEC)... but further reading of the statues, the state requires this if the advisor generates a fee (are they maybe counting that as a fund management fee?)...
