After reading Brandon and Brian's book, The Multifamily Millionaire, Volume II: Create Generational Wealth by Investing in Large Multifamily Real Estate, I'm a bit puzzled as to if the GP's must have real estate experience, or if someone can connect enough professionals/companies on their team to execute successful investments.

I’d love to hear your insights or experiences managing properties with similar setups in Pittsburgh.

Even if they do have 20 years experience...how do you know really?  

@Thomas Farrell if you have any experience managing property/construction projects, I would look in to flipping properties and keeping the once that you see an acceptable cashflow on when finished.

I'm a Realtor and General Contractor with years of experience in Redding, buying, selling and developing properties; and will be happy to answer any questions you have about the market, the area, types of properties, etc.

It could indicate they lack sufficient knowledge or experience in professional property management, which may lead to costly issues for you down the line.

You have a freelance job and you can qualify as REP I sharing this from my personal experience.
