So if it can do that, shouldn't it be able to be pointed to any website of your choice, search through groups/posts/etc and communicate with anyone who displays some kind of "intent" to sell, and if no intent is found, it could generate "curiousity" and help develop some curiousity from anyone in the group, and it could do this, until all possible efforts have been exhausted over time.

That’s always going to win in the end as to coming out ahead as long as you make smart financial investments (such as maintaining control of your own investments, and making smart choices on properties that cash flow, etc).

I listened to some of these gurus (including a few people on BP) about acquiring doors to have "financial freedom" and bought 2 Class C properties in Indianapolis, not hating the city just my choice of property purchases - that cash flow on paper has turned out to be -$300 to -$500 a month.
