"I was looking at get my property rented by the room to college students or Veterans" but I don't actively see this happening often.

The latter two are more semi-active income with some infrastructure buildout needed, but HipCamp has been pretty cool to the point we're making plans to add a few more campsites and some basic amenities. 

I think the first question you need to answer is if you want to be an active investor or a passive investor.

Someone has to manage the rental, and it's very active.

At this point with Whalen the fall guy for the criminal activity its my opinion that Clayton and wife while going through a great deal of drama and trauma being the focus of so much civil litigation and public assassination on social media   will just live out their lives here in this country hardly any kind of exile.. 

I inquired about the possibility of a two-company structure: A traditional LLC that is the public face of the activities (collecting rents, paying contractors, etc.) and managing the Series LLC with each property in once cell in it (in this case, Series LLC is serving as a holding role).Again, one attorney said that would be much better than a standalone LLC and that is recommended approach, and the other said it is waste of time and money since there are some requirements from Texas Real Estate Commission, which is requiring being a licensed broker in the state to operate in the managing LLC.So, just want to hear what other Texas investors are doing when it comes to series LLCs regarding these issues. 

I think guests hardly ever damage things intentionally, but when you have luggage coming in and out all the time and little kids running around a "new place," there IS a lot more wear-and-tear, scuffs/dents/scrapes, and broken glass.
