I've done a lot of reading into Texas lease options (specifically how they can't be longer than 6 months - mainly due to old time mineral rights contracts), and it fascinates me how other investors do them successfully, and without potential litigation.

Fascinating how corrupted Wall St. brokers and rating agencies can topple a housing market. 

Also have to say that @Brandon Turner comments about 1st visit being just to test the mutual comfort level was fascinating... didn't even enter my head.  

As a kid, I was fascinated with Bob Villa's television shows and thought one day I could be the female Bob Villa, but those ideas were abandoned due to the real world saying you need to get a "real job".
