It is shocking how many get redeemed in the last 48 hours before the close of the auction.If the properties listed were beyond their redemption period such that I Knew they were really going to be sold, I would start looking at these again.

Is a certain investment in any course good, it really depends on your situation (assuming the course is a good one)If you have $2M sittinig around your wanting to start buying notes with (or real estate), spending $16k or whatever probable isn't a bad thing,,if you have $25k to invest, then you may want to wait until you have more to invest.I am always shocked to hear people say (or write), they just spend thousands for a real estate course, but actually they don't have any money to start investing.

I ask because I've interviewed a number of general contractors over the years for my various real estate projects and am shocked at how the vast majority showed up to the job site to give an estimate in a vehicle that did not display their contractor license number or business name.Aside from this one issue, they'd often have great portfolios, long list of successful permits I could verify they pulled, great references, no complaints on their license, and had been licensed for over a decade.

Moreover, if you sell or the tenants want to move and their rents are well below market - they might be in for a shock/lifestyle adjustment/unable to afford current market rents.

@Heidi Fahringer wasted time doing several calls and then a meeting with a CPA and then got shocked with their proposed fee.After even more wasted time trying to find out from them why the fee was 10x what I had been paying - a lightbulb in my head finally lit up and I asked the revealing question and found they had a minimum charge.Obviously, we were not a fit.
