Using that route,  I would have found a new profession long agoThe HUD bid system is impersonal albeit a bit less than it used to be.Back in the day, I bought one at a time and worked like hell until it sold. 

Here in Florida we are a Right to Work State with lots of Seniors and it is very hard to make $20 an hour if you do not have a Profession or Business. 

I would spend some time with some great general contractors and architects in your area to see if it's a profession you'd truly be passionate about...if not then don't waste your time!

Yea you could do it like that, but usually your lender is a broker and can find you the best products as that is their profession.

I am a financial analyst by profession, so numbers speak to me.

This is like me telling people in my career no luck was involved, given my previous W2 profession involved buying the lows/selling the highs(commodities).

Etc.Wholesaling is not a glamourous profession.

Professions like engineering, law, accounting, architecture, and general contractors necessitate degrees and licensure.Development is unique in that it welcomes (perhaps even encourages) a maverick spirit.

Correct me if I am wrong but Joe Schmoe with no experience and no education can call himself a financial advisor.There is no governing body that administers the term 'financial planner' so I put litte weight into that title / profession, whether it is fee based / non-fee based.
