While you certainly can invest in warehouses, and there is plenty of money to be made doing so, that would be referred to as investing in industrial property and not likely where someone would get started in real estate, but I don't know how far your pockets drag on the ground so maybe I am being a bit presumptuous?

The foreclosure itself can take 6 months to a year typically but in extreme cases can drag on for years, Especially due to a bankruptcy.
