 Beware of "new agent" brokers demanding charging full commission (6 or 7%) which immediately limits your ability to obtain listings as a new agent -- if you can't offer years of experience or success stories, you need to be able to offer discounted services until you build up your business, but your broker won't let you, requires mandatory duty hours (free labor) and mandatory cold-calling sessions, which, in my opinion, is the absolute least likely way to get business, and usually the only leads they give you are the ones the successful agents in the office don't want and know are a lost cause or in areas I would not go in without my dog and pepper spray.
