I think it is a great method. 

Kyle\Turnkey is normally a great method when investing from outside the United States.

There are tons out there with great methods on how to figure out how many jack studs are needed and how thick a header needs to be.

The Brrrr method is a great method and I have acquired several properties using it.

Another great method is to get to an REI club.

The typical gorilla marketing tactics are always a great method and some work better for me that are different for others.

So Id say a great method to achieving financial freedom is to identify what areas in expensive locals may have appreciation that will outpace the rest of the area.....often that can be found in hot gentrifying neighborhoods.Also while housing may take a larger percentage of your budget here in DC....the other costs of living will only marginally rise over other areas of the country.

After doing some research and coming across Seth Williams from REtipster we decide land flipping was a great method of investment for us.

I'll still be fine in the end but I might have to get a family investor to float me a small loan for a bit but that all depends on how the appraisals come back (and I have to pay for two of those for the same lot....).This is still a great method though, dont get me wrong.
