Experienced developers, could you tell me how the process/financing works?

A successful active investor usually has something to add to the process from their own knowledge/experience.

However, the process was extremely cumbersome, communication was inefficient, and the loan fees were inflated compared to other deals I have seen from fellow investors.We will be ready to begin the refinance stage of our next project in the coming days, as renovation is finishing up and we are screening tenants.

I worked with an expert STR agent, Troy Nowak, who guided me through the purchase and negotiation process.

We’ve also had increases submitted in Sep 2023 that still haven’t been processed.   

I do all of this remotely, so I use the above process to filter out 90% of the properties and then send the other 10% to my local team for verification.

For the first townhome, we are in the renovation process and looking to screen our first tenants.
