This is very interesting as it pertains to deportation. 

We had a situation once where our tenant was arrested and deported out of the country through ICE, but left behind his children and their mother (his ex-girl friend) in the apartment.

He was later deported as a criminal alien through ICE.

Got an email today from my PM stating that one of my tenants has been deported... how does this even happen?

If they get deported, I suddenly have a unit abandoned, or even worse, half a family (wife and kids?)

For people not familiar with Texas... the US 35 corridor is about important to Texas as New York City and the surrounding communities are the State of New York.At the moment, I most concerned about trade agreements because the President can pull out of them without going to Congress.If you want to talk about some of the other things he has mentioned...1) Deporting 11,000,000 people would put the housing market into freefall.2) Cutting the minimum wage would cause deflation at best and stagflation at worst.3) Putting the coal industry on life support at the expense of Wind, Solar, and Natural Gas will help a hand full of coal companies at the expense of the environment and electric utility customers.4) "Bringing back manufacturing" to the United States will be great for the few companies that make robots in the United States.5) Trade barriers will almost certainly have negative responses. 

Everything else I plan to DIY with two guys that have knowledge in contracting and purchasing material from Home Deport/Lowe's and having them install it for me (flooring, countertops, ect).Before I get anyone jumping on my case, I just want to mention that I am meticulous with personal finance.

I sure hope he is deported.
