BP has done such a great job of promoting SFR investing to the masses, that those masses have pushed up real estate prices to where it's now DIFFICULT to cashflow right away.Keep going, but understand you won't get rich in real estate overnight - it's a long-term wealth building strategy.For the short-term, recommend joining a few in-person investor meetings if possible, otherwise online ones.

But to a Kiosoki'esk (Rich Dad)  investor my best use of cash is buying income producing appreciating assets in the path of progress.

I mean I followed Dave Del Dotto and Carlton Sheets.Del Dotto got seriously rich and ended up buying wineries in Napa Valley and one was right across the street from my home..

Kind of the mentality of the war torn countries like Angola/DR Congo - where leadership thinks "get them conflicts going and get them blood diamonds making us rich".

I often look at them and think if they can do it, probably I can have some level of success too.Other key info I may have left out above:1) I am not in the US, and have no plans to visit or move there2) I am not a US citizen, but possibly have a credit history there (maybe none) since I attended university there many many years ago3) I am completely new to real estate - I've been reading crazily and consuming lots of content.
