The home was in rough shape—think mold, a hole in the roof, and years of water damage.

It’s been bumpy with positive income. lots of expenses,  220 w batteryinstalled, utilities , gardener,  Water heater etc and cohost is eating up positive.

Usually if it is something no HoA I solve the issues but now the prolem is under the HoA mercy that seems to careless and the water damages are severe and scary on the photos.

Along with a kiddy-pool sized litterbox in one corner of a room, cat urine and feces in the OTHER corner of the room on the carpet (newly installed by the seller when I bought), and a smell that made my eyes water walking in the front door.The lease has a clause for Tenant-Caused Damages resulting from tenant negligence.

The yard looked like trash, plumbing stack leaks and multiple water heater leaks.

Do any of these STR insurance policies cover against fire, water, wind or hail damage.

(normally recommended, especially if you are a landlord)- Water Backup: For water damage due to the backup of Sewers or Drains.- Personal Articles: Coverage for belongings that have a special or collectors valuesuch as Jewelry, Furs, Fine Arts, Collectibles, etc...Your age should not be a factor on the pricing but, depending on the company these other factors may get you credits:- Insurance Score (company pulls certain info out of your credit report).

Of course not, but required items such as electric, water, gas, and plumbing all need to be in working order.

Don't forget to change all your faucet aerators and shower heads to low flow it makes a huge difference as well as far as water usage and saving HOT water.
