You need to provide something of value, and that usually isn't money as successful real estate investors have a good amount of that already and their focus is not on a few hundred dollars from a trainee, but finding more deals to add to their pipeline.

I would not confront them or even act outwardly like you know anything (your property is too vulnerable as are you).These online reporting systems allow you to give great detail, which you can collect just from observations (be it license plates, numbers, times, etc).While I have not totally solved anything (yes, they have younger trainees in waiting), I know one action took place ( one of two bad actors was arrested, slowing traffic by 1/2) and also it got them on the radar screen of authorities.

He said most of the deals he got would be borderline profitable if the needed rehab ended up being greater than expected (you don't really get to inspect the property), but there would be an occasional steal where there was no loan or the lenders rep didn't show up.I was a trainee appraiser at the time and decided I had easier ways to find deals.

If the mentor has the capabilities and is not a rip off artist/guru, And the trainee has the abilities to follow through and apply, then yes.Being new, it is very difficult to understand who are the real players and who are the talkers/scammers.
