I've lost $500,000, opportunity cost, time, blood n sweat  . what rei or events allow you to pass down the education to your family as an option?

part of BRRRR is sweat equity and watching things closely, and that's exactly what you can't do remotely / from Internet.you tell me - how will you not do this?

And, for those people who have more time than money, they can put in sweat equity into directly owned real estate.

I am looking for an investor who would be willing to partner with me to flip properties in my area where I get paid in 2 ways: to do the remodel, but charge less than my normal rate, ie. doing it at cost, in order to ALSO earn sweat equity in the property.  

I've done a number of BRRRRs, managing contractors and my own sweat equity, and see opportunities for more BRRR/flips.

So I wouldn't sweat it too much.

Think of your "sweat equity" as an unauthorized contribution.

Actual and sweat equity is never equal.

We have a lot of expenses since we buy our properties distressed and put a lot of sweat equity in them.

People don't need a house handed to them, they need to put a bit of sweat into getting it (and then make the mortgage payments such as they are) as well as being educated as how to take care of the home and budget.
