If you don’t have the money to pay all of it use the difficulty of collecting to work out a payment plan.I am not saying you should make a habit of pulling a trump on contractors, but there is a reason when tenants trash houses everyone here says take the security deposit and eat the rest—it’s a pita to collect.

Just like in any other industry and in life in general, money is the trump card. 

Asking other BPs members how their experience has been is a solid secondary strategy - but really your market analysis should trump all.

And if Trump gets reelected, that could be good for businesses that will most likely plan on growth in hiring and inventory after this somewhat mild contraction. 

Every once in a while a person who writes a book and does a seminar is well-intentioned and full of integrity, but think of Trump University as being emblematic of how low some will sink to peddle their wares.
