I've had two people who I connected with but after our first meeting both told me how they disliked real estate as a holding. 

By doing this, I left my job and the industry I was in because I disliked it and became a real estate agent.

@John Morgan, I don't disagree with Dave Ramsey all the way in regards to disliking debt, or you for that matter.

However, if this has already been threatened, then it's already escalated past smooth and friendly.Personally, I strongly dislike using the court system unless absolutely necessary.

If you haven't held that property across a tax year at least they may be more aggressive in their dislike. 

If you're a good landlord, I think most people are neutral-- I don't like you, I don't dislike you, and as long as you fix things then I'm okay with it.

The small amount of landlording required for my SFR's has also made me realize how much I dislike it.

I don't know why this is eating at me, but I strongly dislike the fact that "townhome" has two different meanings.
