All had very mild symptoms, including the brother in law who is 65, overweight and a type 1 diabetic.  

Besides real estate, I'm a type 1 diabetic.

My wife felt really faint late last year and her family has a strong history of Diabetes.

To me it's like having someone with a cancer and treating it with massive doses of steroids and sugar resulting in giving them diabetes in addition to the cancer ,instead of treating the real problem.

The elderly who are not mobile (diminished lung condition) or any other health conditions (high blood pressure, diabetes, immune compromising conditions such as past cancer treatment) could increase the risk.

As a side note, I am one of the folks that is said to be more susceptible to dying from the virus as I have had diabetes for 30 years so I most certainly am aware and do not want to take chances.

Have night terrors, etc.My own dog is a service animal for my Type I Diabetes. 

She's 50, with diabetes, so she cannot go get a new job. 

They may be medical alert dogs that warn their owners of impending diabetic crises, seizures, etc.
