If the statements made in the post that seeded this are true, and what you said in this OP are true, this is one of the most disgusting things I’ve seen in my multiple decades in this industry, and gives the entire industry a black eye.If this company pursues litigation, I would love to be on that jury.  

And you can start small, buy an old camper, cut a big window, spray paint it black and brown, add some wood trim and sell coffee outside events.

That being said life isn't black and white if its keeping you up at night don't do it but I think you will be surprised at how easy and not scary it is once you pull the trigger.

The mold, if it's not black, won't be a major issue and can be bleached or treated.
