I just googled: landlord fined for not taking section 8And found several headlines from Mass and NY where landlords were fined.It's unbelievable that the Federal Government can force a landlord to enter into a one side contract that is detrimental to the landlord, places him/her at a disadvantage of being able to enforce while adding an additional risk, burden of paperwork and accountability without remuneration.
