Can anyone tell me if their is any truth to this or is the realtor blowing smoke?

I know there are certain things I need to do before the tenant moves in (like smoke detectors, fire extinguisher, etc).

A bare wire had arced to the metal in the plaster walls  and had started to smoke 3 joists.  

My question is whether or not forms like a pet addendum, rental application, carbon monoxide/smoke detector acknowledgement etc. are state specific - I know the residential lease is subject to certain state regulations and will be asking an attorney about it.

so how do you find all these smoking deals. the Big yellow card????

The business is booming - not just the pot smoking but also the edibles, creams, salves and the list goes on.

There are too many shady characters who their people work out of their houses or outsource workers from other countries, its all puff and smoke.  

Do any of the occupants smoke?

Does anyone with a no smoking policy allow tenants to 'vape' inside of your rental property?
